Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Dear Friends,

Thanks to the Boobyball and their Save the Boobs video, Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM) has launched with a media frenzy for Rethink Breast Cancer this year. Created to air on MTV Canada and be used in a viral web campaign to promote the Boobyball, the video has become an international media sensation! It's been aired and discussed on everything from Good Morning America to The View to CNN. Not everyone appreciates it, but it's got people engaged in dialogue and we've received tons of wonderful, supportive emails, many from young women dealing with breast cancer.

We are really proud to be launching TellHER2.ca, a social networking site for HER2+  women. We are excited to be one of the first organizations to use the new social media platform to provide support and create community-this incredible technology is out there and can be used to revolutionize psychosocial support. The site went live on Friday, so please come and share you story with video, pictures or text!

Our dedicated Calgary committee will be hosting the Rethink Romp later this month, which looks to be bigger and better than ever. This event is run by an incredible group of young women who are real inspirations.

As always, this month there are lots of great products to buy to support Rethink’s work with the many young Canadian women experiencing breast cancer. TELUS has launched a hot pink Jawbone Headset. The timing is quite perfect as it will be against the law to use your cell in the car unless you're hands free in Ontario and soon to be around the country. You can be safe, stylish and support Rethink!  Check out all of Rethink’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month products by clicking here.

Have a great week and remember to show your breasts some TLC!

Best,
MJ
