Rethink Breast Cancer on CNN Live

Rethink Breast Cancer’s Executive Director, MJ DeCoteau, and MTV Canada’s Aliya-Jasmine were on CNN Live at lunchtime talking about the Save the Boobs YouTube video in support of Rethink Breast Cancer.  CNN was kind enough to share some comments from their online poll with us to share with our supporters.

Comment:  As the father of a 17 yr old (who happens to be the love of my life, makes me smile everyday) I don't care how they get the message to her, if this is what it takes to get her attention, then run the ad 10 times an hr, because I don't want to lose her because of some reticence on my part, it's directed at her anyway.  I'm wondering how the critics of this would feel if they lost a daughter, wife, niece, mother because of a missed opportunity to be made aware of breast cancer.  I'd be inconsolable if I lost either my wife or daughter.

Comment: Great Job! Honestly whatever it takes to bring awareness is what is needed. Even IF this PSA is criticized then at least that means it is being discussed! KUDOS to Rethinkbreastcancer.com.

Comment: The Breast Cancer AD is smart and I wasn't uncomfortable at all I as stated before. I ask my wife to check every chance I get and it's a known fact than men can get Breast Cancer as well.

Comment: Would they rather see what happens after the fact of having a double mastectomy?! Americans are such prudes in public…
