This spring I lost my friend, Leanne Coppen, to breast cancer. Leanne was an incredible woman in so many ways…it was beyond devastating to loose her. Her fight against the disease was vocal, feisty and powerful! Leanne was an inspiration to me, as she was to many.
Recently, my BFF was diagnosed with a different kind of cancer. When I heard the news, I thought “That is IT! Cancer, you are really pissing me off!”. I decided it was time to put my fashion skills to good use and I called on the fabulously talented Lauren Tamaki to collaborate on an idea with me. Volia, the Jules Power for Rethink Breast Cancer tee was born!
I am excited to announce that our Rethink T-shirt has launched on the Jules Power web store! Proceeds from the shirt will go directly to Rethink to fund research and support for those affected by breast cancer. I know it’s just a little thing but it’s my way of contributing to the fight. I dedicate this project to Leanne and to women around the world who are affected by this disease. Keep up the fight – you are amazing.
