We need your help with Rethink’s new website design!

We are on our way to creating a new website for Rethink which is super exciting for us!  We truly want to have the best website possible to help get breast cancer information to the young women that need it.  And, we want the Rethink spirit  to still shine through!

We had a great meeting today with our fabulous website team at
Mighty Digital and there are so many decisions and directions we could go in for the new site.  Back when we launched the first Rethink website in 2001 the choices were really limited to basically putting a brochure online. Of course we made sure we had a super stylish online brochure courtesy of one of our favorite designers Alex Wigington of Oxygen Design.  Her clean white website design won awards and helped further Rethink brand image as modern and innovative.  A few years later we needed to move to a content management system as the organization had grown so much and we were constantly needing to update our website.  We continue to be a tad frustrated with the limitations of the content management system and so in 2010 we will be launching our new website using great new software like WordPress.  We will have the ability to change our website as needed (a must in this fast paced environment!) but have lots of design options-it’s like a dream come true.  It’s not all roses though-we have so many design choices which would impact the overall strategy of how our website works and is used.

We need your ideas!

What would you like to see on our website?  How do you like to get information about breast cancer, events and our programs?  Should we highlight a few things on our home page or make the HP more like a news site with lots of articles, blog posts, tweets and information?

I myself am torn and would really love to hear what you all have to say! Any good suggestions? Good ideas?  Good website examples? If we use your idea, you will certainly get a shout out from Rethink!

P.S. As always, if you know any young woman affected by breast cancer, please tell her about Rethink Breast Cancer
