We’ve been so blessed at Rethink Breast Cancer to have incredible corporate partners who have helped us to grow our organization and provide education and support for young women concerned about and affected by breast cancer. Our latest partnership is with DundeeWealth – an amazing group of people who really care about making a difference in our cause. Dundee has come onboard as the presenting sponsor for our Speakers Series at Breast Fest Film Festival (Rethink’s annual breast cancer film festival). With Dundee’s support we will be able to grow this important educational series at the festival.
Many of the films at Breast Fest deal with difficult and deep issues. The Speakers Series provides a context and understanding for these issues by presenting expert speakers and panels. Last year some of the topics our world renowned experts discussed were breast cancer and body image, sexuality, living with metastatic cancer, reconstruction, genetics and more. Attendees of the festival told us the Speakers Series was incredibly informative and helpful in processing their thoughts and emotions. Many of them made some special friends through the process of attending the festival and sharing and learning so much together.
We are in the thick of programming some incredible films for Breast Fest 2010 and would love to hear from you what topics and speakers you would like to hear about.
